“Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waitin’ for a train
And I’s feelin’ near as faded as my jeans…”
These photos are taken in the tiny town of Jamestown,NC at an abandoned gas station. It’s beautiful and I love driving by it! We waited till golden hour to run out and get these shots. It was STILL like 100 degrees out!
“Freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose
Nothin’, don’t mean nothin’ hon’ if it ain’t free…”
“And, feelin’ good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues…”
I’ve also wanted a photo with my obsession…yes it’s Coke…caffeine and sugar water 🙂
This top and skirt both came from the clearance rack at Aeropostle. There weren’t many cute clothing shops up in Blowing Rock. You get thrift stores,Rue 21,Aeropostle… or you pay too much. We know I’m cheap!
“You know, feelin’ good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGhee…”
Sparklers are a blast to play with in photos. They just look really cool!
This was my fourth shoot with Meagan Hamilton Photography. She is a creative genius who has an amazing eye. She’s also just one super cool person!
